Additional Barrel Information: Originally a Rye Whiskey barrel, commercially distilled, private label bottled whiskey boasting a strong rye presence. Rye is bottled under private labels. While specific batch/client combinations are confidential even to us, private labels include Angel’s Envy, Bulleit, Cleveland, and George Dickel. Maple syrup then rests in these Ex-Rye Whiskey barrels, aged to taste until they reach peak flavor. Barrels ship with an additional 500-750 mL of high proof neutral spirit and purged with inert gas to prevent spoilage.
