Additional Barrel Information: Originally a rum barrel, the rum is a combination of 5-10 Caribbean aged rums from Trinidad and Barbados that are between 3-5 years old. They are produced in small distilleries from all over the Caribbean. They are then blended in Holland by E&A Scheer, a master blending company that is over 300 years old. A flavor profile described as woody, caramel, vanilla, coconut, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Then maple syrup rests in these ex-rum barrels, aged to taste until they reach peak flavor. Barrels ship with an additional 500-750 mL of high proof neutral spirit & purged with inert gas to prevent spoilage.
